Seeing how Olivia and I are the only girls in the house now we decided to spend some "girl time" together today. What did we do? Something totally "girly" and involved the colors "Love Me Tender" pink and "Big Apple Red." We had manicures and pedicures.
In the words of Isaac, after my day today I would like to report that "I DID IT!"
I had my three children by myself today and I survived. In fact, not only did I survive, but I actually did fine. It was busy, nonstop, challenging, and good.
My mom left yesterday after 16 days of treating me like a queen and Michael worked from home yesterday and blessed me with his help. So today was my first real day by myself with my three babes.
I was quite nervous about how I was going to balance and juggle so many needs, but God blessed me with a good and successful day. Thank you, God.
Olivia started back with homeschool after a two-week break, Isaac kept busy by playing and reading many books, and Joshua had more waking hours today than any other since his birth. I managed to feed everyone and get everyone dressed. I didn't get around to putting on my make-up, but I did take a bath. And I even unloaded the dishwasher and washed 2 loads of clothes.
I know there will be days I will recite "The Little Engine that Could" by saying, "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can," but I also know that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13
Thank you for all your prayers. I felt covered and blessed today.
