Olivia has been studying about plants in science the last month. One of her projects was to sprout and grow grass from seed in an egg shell. Well, we took it one step further and made silly eggheads after the grass had grown. This is what we did with our afternoon while it rained.

Olivia and Isaac each got to decorate their eggs to make them into "heads" using googly eyes, rhinestones, and Sharpies.
Olivia felt that her egg head's "hair" was much too long and decided to give it a trim.
Here is Isaac with his finished Egghead that he affectionately named "Eddie."
I plan on doing this project again around Easter next year. We'll use the grass filled eggs for decoration on our Easter Dinner Buffet and after Easter is over the kids can make a whole family of Eggheads.
