Joshua turned a year old on Saturday. I am amazed how quickly his first year of life has vanished right before my eyes. To celebrate his birthday we had a Cowboy party (like we did for his older brother). We enjoyed "Cowboy Chuck" of Slow Elk (barbeque brisket), Wasp Nests (buns), Whistle Berries (baked beans), potato salad, slaw, corn on the cob, and Sasparilla (root beer).
We played games of "Translate the 'Cowboy Lingo,'" "Lasso a Bull," and "Solve the Cowboy Riddle."
Joshua enjoyed everyone singing "Happy Birthday" to him and really liked his cake frosting. J
Before Joshua finished his cake frosting, Olivia and Isaac grew impatient and ended up digging into Joshua's cake with him. Joshua even tried to share a piece of cake with Olivia.
Waving bye-bye to the cake
I am so thankful God blessed our family with Joshua. We look forward to watching him mature in the Lord.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE COWBOY!
