February 1st

On this first day of February I found myself:

Homeschooling,

Washing 3 loads of laundry,

Painting My Girl's fingernails,

Building Lego ships with My Boys,

Baking one chocolate cake recipe, dividing it between a dozen cupcakes and 1 round cake to be used for two special upcoming celebrations,

Enjoying a quick trip to the mailbox when seeing a much appreciated break in the clouds while above cake recipe was in oven,

Not burning above said cake recipe, :)

Taking a brief nap with my little boy,

Making a "Welcome February" breakfast for dinner,

Enjoying heart shaped biscuits, chicken sausage, strawberry jam, and freshly squeezed orange juice for dinner,

Continuing to try to (finally) (hopefully) beat my husband at Words with Friends. :)

Here we are preparing for our annual Groundhog Day celebration beginning first thing tomorrow morning.
